Hi there! I am so happy that you have come to call. I would get up to greet you, but I can't walk. I spend my days in a power chair and my nights in a hospital bed. It has been a very long winter. I don't have snow chains on my chair. We got more snow this year than we have since I was a child. Please don't feel sorry for me. I have so many blessings that the bad things just don't stand out. I have a disease called lupus. It attacks the connective tissues in the body. It has caused rheumatoid arthritis, chronic emphysema, heart problems, and liver disease so far. I have to learn to walk all over again. I get very impatient. I am now able to take about 20 very shaky steps.

I have both physical and occupational therapist who come to my home. They are going to make sure I walk again. LOL If I like it or not. I would have to be crazy not to want to walk. The pain when I walk is complete. I say complete because it completely surrounds me and pulsates through every nerve in my body.

I have five grandchildren. Four of them live here with me. My youngest daughter and her husband take care of me. I could not ask for a better Family. You can see them by clicking on Family. When I first started this website I told God that it was for His glory not mine. I got a little carried away with what I wanted and not what God wanted. I mean to change that. I will slowly be giving the site back to God. I say slowly because I am going to redecorate the entire site. I have signed up to rejoin the Site Fights. Other than Christian top sites, this will be my only competition. Before I got sick I was in about 6 different competitions and spending about 7 hours a day just voting. I won't be doing that again.
